The data presented below was obtained through voluntary census research of FTSE 350 companies and relates to Board memberships as of 31 December 2025.
98 out of 100 companies (98%) met the target.
Of these 98 companies, 56 have exceeded the target by having more than one ethnic minority director on their Board.
205 of the 231 companies who
submitted data (89%) currently meet the December 2024 target.
If considering the whole FTSE 250, including the companies that did not reply, the percentage meeting the target was 82% in 2025.
There were 188 ethnic minority directors, representing 208 director positions.
The number of positions held by ethnic minorities accounts for 20% of all 1063 positions. This is slightly ahead of the equivalent numbers in 2025 when there were 201 out of 1,050 positions in the FTSE 100 held by a director from an ethnic minority group.
There were 245 ethnic majority directors, representing 274 director positions.
The number of positions held by ethnic minorities accounts for 16% all 1,730 positions. This represents a one percentage point increase from 2024 when there were 274 out of 1,789 positions in the FTSE 250 held by a director from an ethnic minority group (15%).
